This estimate includes the scope of work, materials to be used, project timeline, and total cost. Once you accept and sign the estimate, it becomes a binding contract.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing if unexpected conditions are discovered during the project, such as hidden structural damage or code violations. We'll notify you immediately if additional work is needed and get your approval before proceeding with any changes that affect the final cost.
Payment terms will be specified in your contract. We typically require a deposit before starting work and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. For larger projects, we can arrange a payment schedule that works for your budget.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties. All workmanship is guaranteed against defects for a period specified in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials vary by product and will be detailed in your estimate. We'll help you understand what's covered and for how long.
Our warranties cover defects in installation and workmanship. They don't cover damage from severe weather events, improper maintenance, modifications made by others, or normal wear and tear beyond the warranty period. If you experience any issues with our work during the warranty period, contact us right away and we'll make it right.
Liability and Insurance
CVR Castro Valley Roof Solutions is fully licensed, bonded, and insured to protect you and your property. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all our employees. This means you're not responsible if someone gets hurt on your property while working on your roof.
While we take every precaution to protect your property, roofing work involves some inherent risks. We'll take reasonable steps to prevent damage to your landscaping, vehicles, and belongings. If damage does occur due to our negligence, our insurance will cover it. We're not liable for pre-existing conditions or damage caused by factors beyond our control.
Scheduling and Delays
We'll schedule your project as quickly as possible and provide you with estimated start and completion dates. However, roofing work is weather-dependent. Rain, high winds, or extreme temperatures can delay progress. We'll keep you informed if weather or other factors affect your timeline.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your project, let us know as soon as possible. Cancellation policies and any associated fees will be outlined in your contract. For emergency repairs, we'll do our best to accommodate urgent scheduling needs.
